Nils Kinuani is a passionate human rights advocate and community leader with a proven track record of organizing and driving impactful advocacy campaigns. He has successfully led efforts securing Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for more than 2,000 Ethiopian immigrants, over 2,000 Sudanese, and more than 300 South Sudanese.
Committed to community service beyond his professional work, Nils volunteers as an English teacher at Saint Mark Catholic Church in Virginia, empowering adult immigrant students to build their language skills and confidence. Nils also serves as a Member of Charles County, Maryland Board of Social Services and contributes his expertise to the Montgomery County, Maryland African Affairs Advisory Group.
A graduate of George Mason University, Nils combines his dedication to social justice with hands-on community engagement, turning advocacy into tangible, meaningful change.
